1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using learnityourself.in (the “Platform”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. The Platform is operated by Indraprastha Innovations Private Limited(“IIPL”, “we”), a company incorporated in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — text, examples, explanations, quizzes, calculators, illustrations — is the intellectual property of IIPL or its licensors. The brand “Learn it Yourself ®” and its logo are registered trademarks under Class 41 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999. For takedown / DMCA-equivalent notices, see our Copyright Policy.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not (a) reproduce, redistribute, mirror, or sell any content without our written permission; (b) train any machine learning model on the content without a separate licence; (c) circumvent or interfere with rate limits, paywalls, or access controls; (d) use automated tools to scrape content at a rate that materially impacts service availability for other users.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice where necessary to protect the Platform or other users.

5. User Content

If the Platform allows you to submit content (e.g. corrections, contact messages, comments), you grant IIPL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and adapt that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. You represent that you have the right to grant this licence.

6. Educational Content — No Professional Advice

Content on the Platform is provided for educational purposes only and is not legal, medical, tax, financial, or other professional advice. See our Disclaimer for the full statement. For YMYL topics including financial literacy, you must consult a qualified professional before acting on what you read.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties (express or implied) and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold IIPL, its directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Platform, or (c) your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

10. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

10.1 Notice and good-faith negotiation

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to send a written notice describing the dispute to legal@learnityourself.in and to negotiate in good faith for a period of 30 days. Either party may extend this period in writing.

10.2 Arbitration

If the dispute is not resolved within the notice period, it shall be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties; failing agreement within 14 days, the arbitrator shall be appointed in accordance with the Act. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties.

10.3 Court jurisdiction

Subject to §10.2, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any matter, suit, or proceeding (including in support of arbitration) arising out of or in relation to these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be notified by a banner on the homepage and, where you have an account, by email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
